[SOLVED] Xbox Controller stopped working in Steam games

Suddenly my Xbox Controller stopped working in games from Steam...

Steam does recognize the controller, and it is working because I can configure it from the Steam Big Picture config screen, however, insides the games, it does not work.

$ uname -r 
5.18.5-arch1-1

$ lsusb | grep Xbox
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 045e:0b12 Microsoft Corp. Xbox Wireless Controller (model 1914)

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you...

It turned out that the Steam folder got corrupted somehow. So to fix this I deleted the folder .local/share/Steam, .steam and reinstalled the package.

Now it works again.
