I am trying to solve the issue of nextcloud not logging in on startup and it's suggested that I don't have a keyring set up, which seems likely. I have archlinux-keyring installed but keyringctl isn't available on my path as it's suggested in the gitlab readme of the package. I see I can clone the repo and compile it, but that seems like the wrong direction to take.
So my question is, how are keyrings handled in a minimal WM like DWM?

I imagine you are talking about this...
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GnuPG
The archlinux-keyring is for signing packages that archlinux offers in the official repositories.
This is different from the AUR or using a key to sign into an ssh server or perhaps nextcloud.

That's good to know about archlinux-keyring. I might be confused about something, but I am looking for something similar to GnomeKeyring that some applications use to cache login credentials.
