If it wasn't the kernel that got updated, but the nvidia driver (not just a rebuild for the kernel), you'd have some trouble because the userspace version is ahead of the (loaded) kernel module - the driver would fail.


Nothing suspicious in that X11 log, but it's a running server, so probably not one covering such crash?

It corrupted after update directly.

That updates only linux-firmware and pamac  - since you're probably also using the latter as package management wrapper, it's more likely that pamac trigger this.
Try to update w/ "pacman -Syu" next time and see what happens even iff that ships a kernel update.
