Also, pavucontrol just shows me dummy output and nothing else.

What model are they? Are you sure it’s compatible? Even if it’s listed as Windows only, it may support Linux just fine.

Those have been problematic in the past and might be up to firmware bugs in the HP (?) HDA verb tables. Try UEFI firmware update here, FWIW what output do you get from

sudo dmesg | grep -iE 'snd|sof'
