Since today, I suddenly can't get Steam to launch anymore.
It doesn't output any error:
~> steam
steam.sh[8611]: Running Steam on arch rolling 64-bit
steam.sh[8611]: STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
setup.sh[8685]: Steam runtime environment up-to-date!
steam.sh[8611]: Steam client's requirements are satisfiedWhen Googling on these messages, I found some old threads where it appeared to be a problem with incompatible lib32 Nvidia drivers. However, I don't have a Nvidia GPU.
My system is up-to-date, of course.

Whatever you find for those lines is gonna be irrelevant since they're perfectly normal.
* "Since today" is after an update? What got updated? (check the pacman log)
* Is the steam.sh process still around after those messages? (ps aux | grep steam)
* Wayland or X11 session?
* glxinfo / eglinfo?
* You can also "export DEBUGGER=strace" to strace steam and maybe see where it hangs.

I know, I just posted it to show that it doesn't output any errors. By Googling the last message I found a few threads on the same issue from some time ago, however.

I update my system almost everyday but I couldn't find any package that got updated that might be related to this.

Nope. It just quits immediately.
* Wayland or X11 session?
Plasma Wayland.
* glxinfo / eglinfo?
Do you want me to post the complete output of that? It's rather long...

This outputs
strace: exec: Exec format errorOffline
Plasma Wayland.
Try plasma/x11
Do you want me to post the complete output of that?
For a start, "glxinfo -B", but run that on an X11 session. If steam works on X11, "eglinfo | head -n32" and "eglinfo32 | head -n32" should do.

X11 or Wayland did not make any difference, but I managed to fix it by running
steam --reset.
