How do I change the theme for KDM?

pacman -S kdmtheme

then have a look at the few scattered arounf the forum or over at kde-look

do you have community enabled?

if not edit /etc/pacman.conf and remove the comment #
from infromy of community and refresh

pacman -Syu
then pacman -S kdmtheme

Thanx..that did the trick.

Another question..is it wise to uncomment Testing and Unstable?

they are what they say!!!!

if you are comfortable with breaking/fixing you system then go ahead, many people use them without much trouble but they are called testing/unstable for a reason
