The Arch Linux packages db says that darktable 4.0 is now available, and the mirror sync page says my primary repos is 100% up-to-date, but when I run "pacman -S darktable", it still tries to install the prior version 3.8.1.
Why?

You'll have to perform a full system upgrade first.
pacman -Syu
