Welcome to the arch linux forum. Pleas use code-tags for program output and code:

[code]...[/code]

pipewire-pulse, pipewire-jack, pipewire-alsa now depend on wireplumber. Do you have issues with it?

Re: [SOLVED] Wireplumber Still Not Removed

The news entry from a month and a half ago is no longer applicable. Don't use pipewire-media-session.

Edit: Reading the news entry again, it only suggested this if you were *not* using pipewire for audio, so it was never applicable.

See https://xyproblem.info/

Hehe. But to be fair I was also quite confused when while updating it asked if it should be replaced - again - and actually researched for a solution if it were to break again before rebooting. ^^

As I said, that doesn't apply and never applied to your situation.

Re: [SOLVED] Wireplumber Still Not Removed

What are your issues? Wireplumber is the officially recommended option to handle pipewire session logic including bluetooth, which works just fine here.

Trying to remove it for a quick short term fix might lead to issues later down the line.

Re: [SOLVED] Wireplumber Still Not Removed

Did you read the link I posted?

So your real issue is with bluetooth. Instead of asking for help with that, you decided to take a wrong path in trying to fix it, which also didn't work, then that's what you asked for help with. This is the definition of an xy-problem.

You didn't solve anything here.
