iptables alongside nftables

Hi!

I recently did a fresh install and would like to move from iptables to nftables.

I installed nftables and enabled/started the service, so that the default firewall was set up, as per the  nftables Arch Wiki page.

However, I don't quite know how to proceed after that. I couldn't find clear information on if those two services can stay active at the same time, or if  (and how) I should disable iptables in favour of nftables. For the sake of experimentation, I tried disabling iptables.service and after a reboot I couldn't connect to the network, and iwctl didn't detect any devices. I then re-enabled iptables and everything was back to normal.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
