Bitwig notes not sending.(Plasma/Kwin)

When selecting a vst window, I cannot send notes from my qwerty keyboard to the selected vst.

This makes tweaking knobs while using my keyboard to listen to what I am doing on the fly impossible. I spoke with a Bitwig dev and he tried to recreate this issue on Ubuntu and it was working just fine,

I also tried a Bitwig group on Facebook but no replies, so I am assuming this is an issue with Plasma/KWin on Arch-based distros and would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this. I've tried installing Arch a few times and this problem always persists. If so I would like to see if we can get to the bottom of why this is happening so this can be fixed in the future.

Wayland or xorg session? Assuming Wayland, test a xorg session. There can be quite a few issues with stuff like this if they have wrong assumptions and/or only partial wayland support.

Wayland or xorg session? Assuming Wayland, test a xorg session. There can be quite a few issues with stuff like this if they have wrong assumptions and/or only partial wayland support.

Have you tried it? Are you able to send notes from qwerty when the vst window is selected? I'm really trying to find this out so I can report back to him.

I brought the issue up to him about plugins making Bitwig constantly ask for my attention not allowing my taskbar to hide(because I thought it might be related). He fixed this possibly in the latest pre-beta, but he hasn't been able to find out about this issue.
