Fonts looking wrong

The fonts in chromium, firefox, visual studio, awesome, etc, all look bad, like they are fuzzy and thin.
Is there a way to make them look like in Windows 10? i tried some videos and reading the arch wiki, but i dont seem to clearly understand the steps or things i need to do.

Also im using nvidia and installed some drivers but haven really configured them, just mentioning because maybe it has something to do.

Fonts looking wrong … look bad, like they are fuzzy and thin

Is there a way to make them look like in Windows 10?

Step one: install the windows 10 fonts…
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?K=ttf-ms-win

Your overall concern is likely reg. hinting and subpixel rendering, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Font_configuration
Or you're facing some bitmap fonts.
Or you really were just looking for the MS fonts
Or something.

Link a screenshot and post the output of

fc-match sans; fc-match monospace

to add at least *some* hard data to this thread.
