[solved] Set up US keyboard during boot and on gdm, but not locale

Hi, I am using eurkey for some time now and I set it up in gnome. But during boot and on first time login in gdm I have german quertz layout. I guess that's because I have my locale set to de, as desired.
Is there any way to set the system keyboard layout independently?

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GDM#Keyboard_layout
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Linux_ … figuration but i don't think there's an eurkey layout for this context, you'd have to write or derive it.
You also can try https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?K=ckbcomp

Works like a charm. I am actually fine with us at that stage. Thank you very much.
