Gnome Extensions not working

I added the gnome-shell extension on my web browser (Brave), and followed the instructions to install chrome-gnome-shell by running the following:

$ git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/chrome-gnome-shell.git
$ cd chrome-gnome-shell
$ makepkg -si

I then ran

sudo pacman -U chrome-gnome-shell-10.1-6-any.pkg.tar.zst

I tried to add a few extensions through the browser, but whenever I toggle the ON/OFF button, nothing happens.

What could be causing this? Thanks!
