I use a tampermonkey script from Xyne to keep the old wiki skin.
see here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=272800
It worked well until today, I think the old look skin is broken in the wiki itself.
Can somebody confirm?

It's not broken, it's a MediaWiki feature since 1.38.

He means that
* https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Main_page
* https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti … nversion=1
* https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti … ector-2022
* https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti … kin=vector
look all the same (now)
You've to login, enable the legacy vector design and checkbox "use kegacy version" or so to get back to the old design.
Then there's https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti … n=monobook and I will shamelessly plug https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=272718

useskin=vector-2022 (ArchWiki's default skin) and useskin=vector may look mostly the same, but there are slight differences. The biggest one probably being the sticky header (only visible when logged in).
I couldn't find any URL parameter that would enable the "Use Legacy Vector" option, so there's no easy solution to go back the old look without logging in.

@seth, thanks. Just for clearity: the topic's urlhttps://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p2020453
I don't know which changes where made to the wiki and why Xyne's script https://gitlab.com/ArchXyne/greasemonke … i-old-skin is not working anymore. But will use some other solution, will mark as solved for now.

As I was trying to say, the wiki was upgraded to MediaWiki 1.38. You can find some information in their release notes, but as usual, there are many undocumented changes.
