[SOLVED]Widget on the desktop (KDE) cannot be removed

When I remove the widget in the standard way (right click -> remove widget), it reappears after rebooting the system.
When I delete the .desktop file it refers to (in the ~/.local/share/plasma_icons/name.desktop folder), it appears again after a system reboot.
It was a normal executable file from the internet, I deleted it, but I still can't remove the widget.
Please help me.
Edit 1:The binary file referenced by this widget is already removed, but the widget is still not removed.

Can  you post a link to a screen shot?

Re: [SOLVED]Widget on the desktop (KDE) cannot be removed

That is odd.   That certainly is a widget.  I was checking that we were not dealing with a "Folder View" mode or some other thing.
Have you tried rebooting?  Is there some daemon that could be running despite your having removed the program?

I edited my request, the widget appears just after the reboot.

I never got an answer to the question.
Help me please.

Re: [SOLVED]Widget on the desktop (KDE) cannot be removed

Don't have an answer to give.

What widget is it?  How did you install said widget on your system (part of the default, using pacman/pkgbuild, from the kde menus, from a file)?
After you delete it from the desktop, post your ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file.

You might also try removing the widget from the desktop, then uninstall the widget from your system. Then try logging in again.

I added this widget manually

Here is the content of the file ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc after removing the widget.

I tried that, but nothing changed.

I also tried creating another widget for the .img file, but I could not remove it either.

Re: [SOLVED]Widget on the desktop (KDE) cannot be removed

My Russian is non-existent, and I cannot readily translate what is in those pictures. It looks like it is offering copy and paste options and the ability to add icons to widgets.    But I do find Уведомления центра программ in the file you shared, which I believe means "Software Center Notifications".  Is that the widget that will not die?  If so, what if you hand edit that file and remove line 217.

Also, I note a reference to a launcher: applications:org.manjaro.pamac.manager.desktop
Is this a Manjaro installation, or an Arch installation?  I cannot make that call based on this alone.

Re: [SOLVED]Widget on the desktop (KDE) cannot be removed

It's certainly still there

[Containments][21][Applets][22][Configuration]
localPath=/home/zuriz/.local/share/plasma_icons/AniLabXLite_linux64.desktop
url=file:///home/zuriz/anlabx/AniLabXLite_linux64

Delete the widget, re-check  ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc on whether it's gone.
If not, "pkill plasmashell" check the file again.  If the entry is gone, restart plasmashell and see whether the widget re-appears.
If not, re-login.

(Theory is that plasma crashes on exit and fails to write its config)

Pretty rational theory.

What did I miss in identifying it as AniLabXLite_linux64?  I was still trying to zero in on the offending widget.

Re: [SOLVED]Widget on the desktop (KDE) cannot be removed

Problem solved.
I deleted the ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc file, and restarted the system.

That should work too, but I deleted that file to be safe.
