Cannot Sign up for AUR account: CAPTCHA answer is invalid [SOLVED]

I saw a couple other reddit posts/arch forum posts with this same issue, but none of them seemed to help so far.

I am able to run

LC_ALL=C pacman -V|sed -r 's#[0-9]+#8a0#g'|md5sum|cut -c1-6

  but keep getting "captcha invalid".

Pacman Version: Pacman v6.0.0-8-gb438 - libalpm v13.0.0

The actual version is 6.0.1-5

https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/pacman/

So, update the system and try again.

Ah! I had pacman-git installed for some reason, didn't notice this until updating and then checking my pacman.conf. Installed vanilla pacman and now it's working. Thanks!

Pacman v6.0.1 - libalpm v13.0.1
