I've recently installed Arch Linux on my system, and I had to resize my logical volumes around 2/3 times as I added another SSD to my laptop and wanted to create another logical volume to store my Timeshift backups. After this process, some of my logical volumes have segments like below:
--- Logical volume ---
LV Path /dev/volgroup0/lv_home
LV Name lv_home
VG Name volgroup0
LV UUID UUID NUMBER
LV Write Access read/write
LV Creation host, time archiso, DATE
LV Status available
# open 1
LV Size <702.21 GiB
Current LE 179765
Segments 3
Allocation inherit
Read ahead sectors auto
- currently set to 256
Block device 254:1
Is it bad to have segments in my logical volumes? If so, how can I remedy the situation? Thank you for any advice in advance!
