Linux lags in picture in picture

Hi I am new to linux and using KDE. I noticed that when using picture in picture, and receiving notifications from telegrams, the system starts to slow down a lot (even animations and text selection), while the processor and RAM readings remain within the normal range. What can I do about it?

There's very little useful information here. Picture-in-picture of what? If firefox that's somewhat of a long standing issue with how it uses GL contexts and the nvidia driver. Test chromium or so. Or do you mean the feature of your monitor?
