Hello,
I updated my computercase and while everything else works, suddenly I am not able to use the line-out-port of the motherboard. Everything else works, head-phones work via HD-Audio-Front and wireless per USB, too, and the port itself is also working in another OS I have on dual boot.
The port is being shown, and it does show that sound is getting there, but there's none at the speakers.
I Just don't get what is happening here. Such a strange error. It did work before I switched the case, so... not quite sure what to make of it, just got no idea what's wrong here.
thanks
Leo
Edit: Booted from live-USB Garuda, same issue.

Alright, so after trying with Fedora and Debian I have sorta figured it out, but would like to have some input on it nonetheless.
The HD Audio port from the new case apparantly sort of "stole" the line-out-port. After disconnecting the port from the mainboard it works again as it did before. However, in the old case, I too had the HD Audio frontpanel in. So I wonder why that would happen now and not before.
Putting solved in nonetheless. Don't really use or need the front-Audio-port.
