Suspend on laptop lid close on Lenovo Yoga 7

I have recently installed arch with KDE and was wondering how to properly set up suspending on the laptop lid close. I went into power management in system settings and set it to suspend but it seemed to only work one time and my touch screen disappears after I open the lid again. So for the time being I have set it as so, shutdown power management

I know that I also can change logind.conf at

/etc/systemd/logind.conf

I know the wiki has more info on it but nothing helped. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_ … th_systemd
By the way, I use wayland. Here is my inxi output if that helps.

Re: Suspend on laptop lid close on Lenovo Yoga 7

After some investigating, I found out that the laptop lid closing works fine, it's just the suspending that doesn't seem to work. When I run

 sudo systemctl suspend

the screen goes to black for a second then the lock screen just pops up. When I run

 suspend

in the terminal it just says

⋊ suspend
Suspending 3592: run kill -CONT 3592 from another terminal to resume

it just does nothing. I'm still confused as to why it doesn't work as expected

When looking at

journalctl

I see that it tries to suspend as in goes to the sleep state but then proceeds to exit straight after

Journal file /var/log/journal/2b3a629fcd024897a96fe0bdc39be0f2/user-1000@0005e45fd11faee4-230ce5845737ffc1.journal~ is truncated, ignoring file.
