Fresh arch install no audio

Hi, I'm new to arch and I couldn't get the audio working. I've installed sof-firmware so my sound device is now recognized but still without any audio. I've posted some output info down below:

Re: Fresh arch install no audio

Hello Durian,

First, thanks for your info about the sof-firmware package, that helped me get mine working.
I'll post my output for commands below so you can compare.

However, I noticed in your output of command

pacman -Q | grep pipewire

you do not have

pipewire-media-session

Are you running one of pipewire-media-session or wireplumber?
That may be the issue.

Wireplumber seems to be the next-gen replacement for pipewire-media-session but try both if you experience issues.
I would also recommend you reboot after each install to be sure.
There were not any additional changes to configuration to alsa or linux modules required on my side

For reference, remove a package with

pacman -Rsn PACKAGENAME

Output coming soon.

@colmustard108273 Both 'pipewire-pulse' and 'pipewire-alsa' have 'wireplumber' as a dependency...

Re: Fresh arch install no audio

Here's my output, using your listed commands.
I have confirmed the speakers play automatically in X11 on a cold boot.
Hope it helps you, and if you're still having issues we can continue diagnosing.
