Computer freezing up, audio still working

I have an issue where my system randomly freezes up and audio and mic will still work usually happens while playing games.
By audio and mic working I mean I can hear and talk to the discord call still.

Things I have tried:
memory test
taking pci cards out(except for gpu)

I am unable to use tty when it freezes up, it will open but unable to see login request or type on tty.

None of these appear to cover an actual issue. Enable sysrq produce the crash, try rebooting with REISUB and then post 

sudo journalctl -b-1

Went to go test the sysrq reboot to make sure everything was enabled correctly it didn't reboot. It just went black screen and hung there for a bit didn't change until I manually rebooted waited 15 minutes before pressing reboot button.

EDIT: DISREGARD GOT SYSRQ WORKING WILL HAVE TO REPRODUCE CRASH

Was only able to upload log to mediafire due to it being so big other sites like hastebin wouldn't take

The log is so bloated because of some plasmashell/discord stream encoding (screen sharing?) which is also most likely the direct cause of amdgpu losing it.
You may want to elaborate on "playing games" because we're not talking about some good old quake fragging session here…

Usually when the freeze happens I am playing squad or red dead while talking on discord (no screen sharing). This most recent one I was screen sharing, would you like another log but this time without discord?

The interesting question is whether you can trigger the same amdgpu errors w/o using discord/screen sharing but a "cleaner" journal might be beneficial, yes.

so I'm inclined to say that this is not the cause of your freeze but a symptom of the VT switch to inspect it?

=> Run steam from an openbox session, still freezes?

If it's about the plasma session, I'd look at the compositor (shift+alt+F12 to toggle it off) and some plasmashell widget(s), notably the spammy ones (=> disable them)

Didn't realize what you were saying at first but it does freeze once I try to enter tty during squad or red dead thats how I was able to replicate it.
Also turning off compositor doesn't change result any other suggestions?

I just suspended the process in ksysguard and couldn't replicate the freeze.
Is there anything I can do to fix this instead of just suspending before I launch these games?

Well I've looked online about disabling widgets and haven't really found anything useful for disabling widgets that aren't panels. What qualifies as a widget?
