Was reading up on pacman-key on arch wiki and noticed that you do not have to add archlinux to populate keys.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … he_keyring
Archiso configs are still using:
pacman-key --populate archlinux
As I do not have an account over on archlinux gitlab I cannot ask/create an issue.
Is wiki correct? Is anyone from archiso team watching the forums?

They're both right. Specifying a keyring to import will import that one; if you don't, it will import all keyrings in /usr/share/pacman/keyrings/.

I don't know where you are still seeing that. archiso's pacman-init.service was updated a year ago to omit the keyring name.

I check archiso on gitlab from time to time....

And you just posted a link showing that the keyname is not explicitly listed. (and it has a time stamp of 11 months ago)
