Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset

About an hour ago, while on Discord, my screen suddenly froze, went black, then started popping out the "Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset" message out in a glitchy way. I had to restart. After restart, most things seem to be going okay, except for the panel, now full black (used to be transparent), my system settings showing a strange bubble on certain tabs and Unity working weirdly (it had on a previous install of Arch (where I had a similar problem sometimes, with the desktop effects), where I re-installed Arch instead of fixing the problem, but I'd rather fix the issue than re-install) and there is a strange line in the middle of my screen that loads weirdly when scrolling (basically, just acts weird in many ways).
Running KDE with kernel ver. 5.18.15 with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Mobile.
I am a newcomer, do tell me if additional information is required.

Re: Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset

Sounds like your compositor is disabled. Check

kcmshell5 kwincompositing

and make sure compositing is/can be enabled. Maybe also post

glxinfo -B #From mesa-utils

to check whether your GL in general is set up correctly.

Re: Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset

Compositor is enabled, it was my OpenGL that had crashed. Re-enabling it and rebooting seems to have solved the issue, but I am worried that maybe it might happen again.
