Does Picom on Xorg have buffering/graphics issues? Need to F5 often

I switched to a 'new' compositor: picom because if its extra effects and customizations.

I retain the default config for most part (on request I can dump it here) and everything works flawless except one thing that doesn't happen with other compositors (this is why I think its a picom specific issue): namely:

on occasion after switching windows across screens I see an app (usually the browser) not rendering all text. A refresh/F5 in that window solves it.

It does not happen with any xterm window. Sofar is looks only restricted to Firefox and some GTK applications.

No crashes, no debug info.. just a block of white or half-drawn websites which are fixed with F5. Looks like a video-buffer redraw thing. Is anyone familiar this picom issue and can advice me how to further debug it?

Maybe someone familiar with picom know if it relates to specific module within picom?

Thanks in advance for any leads

Remove xf86-video-intel if installed, also make sure you use the glx rendering backend.
