I'm on arch-zen, the version is right though. What can I do about this?

You have the linux-headers package installed, but not the actual linux package. That makes no sense.

So what do I need to do?

Maybe I need to clear up some space from my drive... Odd. I have 30gb of free space.

How did you install Arch?
Online
With a live USB disk. I did it forever ago and actually just backed up this system from another drive.
Offline
Then you specifically installed the kernel you're using and configured your bootloader to use it. You should know how you're booting without the 'linux' kernel.
The issue is writing to /boot, which I assume is a separate filesystem. But why are you doing that if you're not going to use that kernel?
Online
I'm not sure. Just trying to get whatever I need for this xone-dkms AUR package to work.

And why do you think it doesn't work?
Online
Just because of that error from the OP.

So what do I need to do?
EDIT: How is my computer working without the linux kernel? lol
You're using/booting the 'linux-zen' kernel, hence you would need the 'linux-zen-headers'...
Anyway, maybe post the output of
lsblk -f
and
ls -lah /boot
before proceeding (with the clean-up)
Offline
It was an error in building for a kernel you're not using.
Online
So I went ahead and downloaded `extra/dkms` from the AUR as well as `linux-zen-headers` with pacman and my Xbox controller connected just fine so I think problem solved here.
