Greetings, i launched CS:GO and Half-Life on my Arch installation running wayland and am unable to go above 144 fps (native hz on my monitor), is it possible for me to remove the cap and go above 144 fps on Wayland with Nvidia?

It is entirely unnecessary for your system to go anywhere above 144 fps if your refresh rate is 144 hz. As, you can't even see a difference with higher frame-rates anyway. But, I guess there's something im not understanding.
Anyway, as I both own a copy of and play CS:GO quite often. I can guide you with ease. This isn't an OS-Level setting, its in the CS:GO settings. Click the settings icon (second to last on the left bar, bottom to top comparison). On the top select video. Click advanced settings below, and find wait for vertical sync. set it to disabled, then bam, uncapped!
System Specs:
Intel Core i5-2400 Nvidia GTX 1050ti Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury (Mouse) BestBuy Essentials USB Keyboard
Software Specifications:
Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma Window Manager: KWin Operating System: Arch Linux (btw)

FWIW I get >100 FPS in CS:GO under sway on a 60Hz monitor.

I know how the game works, fps_max 500 and no vsync i still am not able to go over 144 but that only happens on wayland, on x i am able to get more but it is kind of stuttery

"Wayland" doesn't mean anything, which Wayland? It can be very likely that whatever compositor you are using simply caps to the refresh rate.

Hmm... I'll see my settings on the KDE compositor and edit this message of mine on the outcome...
