Printer refusing to print

Hello, when I'm trying to print anything on my printer (HP_Color_LaserJet_CP1514n) the file won't be printed and the printer just ends up being paused.
I have installed cups, hlip and gutenprint.
Furthermore the HP-Device-Manager shows me the following errors:
Device communication error (code 5012)
Printer queue stopped (code 700)

My "systemctl status cups looks" like the following:
● cups.service - CUPS Scheduler
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/cups.service; enabled; preset: disabled)
Active: active (running) since Tue 2022-08-09 19:57:19 CEST; 13min ago
TriggeredBy: ● cups.path
             ● cups.socket
       Docs: man:cupsd(8)
   Main PID: 411 (cupsd)
     Status: "Scheduler is running..."
      Tasks: 2 (limit: 9365)
     Memory: 11.2M
        CPU: 1.131s
     CGroup: /system.slice/cups.service
             ├─ 411 /usr/bin/cupsd -l
             └─2334 /usr/lib/cups/notifier/dbus dbus://
I'm thankful for every reply.

Re: Printer refusing to print

Is the printer connected through usb or network ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
