[Resolved] Set Firefox's search to use POST

If anyone knows how to set Firefox's default search to use POST instead of GET I would very much appreciate knowing how to do that.  Thanks, in advance, for the help. (20 days with no reply -- have marked as resolved to just end it.)

Maybe a bit late, but there seems to be one extension that does that.

I tried it in a VM, after installing it and searching for something, the link ended up like this:

https://safe.duckduckgo.com/?kg=p&kl=en-en&kp=-2

Moreover, wirehsark showed that the TLS was set up before the query was submitted.

I found some discussion suggesting that no generic solution exists that would work across all search engines.
