Could you please help me nagivating pulseaudio config?

Since (according to many sources) Pulseaudio doesn't change the sampling rate of sink on the fly. I pause all audio in my PC, make sure that state of the sink changes to SUSPENDED and then turn on the FLAC file through deadbeef:

Is there a way to fix this? Any help will be appreciated!

Does your DAC actually support/expose the sample rate of 96000 to the OS? What's your output for

It definitely does. I can change default-sample-rate to 96k and it works!

Mhm mhm, more generally you can configure pulse to be more aggressive in avoiding resampling by configuring the avoid-resampling = true option in your /etc/pulse/daemon.conf did you do that?

Whoops sorry, looks as expected then, somewhat stumped why it wouldn't do it.
Looking at some bug reports, this seems interesting: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseaud … ssues/1152 and this might be up to the kernel changes for implicit_fb, maybe try loading snd-usb-audio with implicit_fb=1 e.g. /etc/modprobe.d/disableImplicitFB.conf
options snd-usb-audio implicit_fb=1and reboot/reload snd-usb-audio

I created a disableImplicitFB.conf file with contents of the code block. Restarted.
No change in the behaviour. Pulse audio still resamples the 96k flacs.
Edit:
Couldn't figure it out. I tried to set up deadbeef in a way that it uses alsa as an output (bypassing pulseaudio) but it kept capping sample rate at 48000. Might be something connected to dmix being on by default. Anyway. Moved to pipewire. It behaves as intended without any issues. Not looking back!
