nordvpn-bin stating it is out of date even after updating via yay

When i use nordvpn-bin the app say in the terminal that it is out of date and needs an update. However, when I run yay -Syu or yay -Syu nordvpn-bin or just uninstall and reinstall it, the error persists. Is there a fix to this is or is it a problem with the package itself?

The package downloads the binary from https://repo.nordvpn.com/deb/nordvpn/debian/pool/main/ .

The latest version shown there is 3.14.2 which is also the version in the aur package .
Check pacman -Q nordvpn-bin to verify if you do have that version installed .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

yes that is the build that pacman says i have but that's not the point I'm making. I'm saying nordvpn itself it saying its out of date meaning that in all likelihood the binary is out of date on the aur unless there is a seperate explaination.
