Laptop hangs on suspend when connected to AC

Hello arch linux newbie here. When my laptop is connected to AC it has trouble going to sleep.  Like it just hangs, and the only way i can fix this is give the laptop a reset by long pressing the power button. Rarely my laptop gets to suspend properly when on AC. On battery there is no suspend issue at all. Is my motherboard power circuit faulty or is this a software bug don't know. I once had windows 10 on this laptop and i remember it did not give this kind of problem. My laptop is an asus. I am posting the full specs below:
