Battery status frozen

Two days ago, I created a service to stop my battery from charging up to 100%, since the option given in the settings seemed to only work until reboot, using this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop … md_service
Yesterday, I saw that not only does it not work, the status of my battery is frozen until I reboot. The charging %, whether it is discharging or charging, it is all frozen until reboot where the status updates then freezes again. I'm not sure if the issue is caused by this service (which I have disabled but the percentage I made it stop at with the service remains present).
Running acpi outputs the same results as the battery indicator, even if trying multiple times.

Kernel: 5.19.4-arch1-1
DE: Plasma 5.25.4
With an ASUS TUF A15 laptop model

Any clue to it?

Re: Battery status frozen

There's currently an ongoing thread about this and it appears to be a kernel regression for ASUS systems, there are various workarounds/patches floating around: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=278933&p=4
