[SOLVED] Can't enter LUKS password with internal keyboard anymore

Hi,

I just tried to start my laptop and unlock my harddrive, just as always, but suddenly I can't enter the password anymore.

I'm using the LVM on LUKS to encrypt my drive. I'm on vacation and I don't have an external keyboard with me, so I can't
check whether that would work.

The strange thing is that this happened out of nowhere ... I didn't update any configuration. Not sure if I rebooted after the
last system update, but I'm pretty sure that I did. Yesterday I could enter the password just fine.

The internal keyboard itself is working, typing this on the same Laptop (different installation).

Any hints ?

Hmm yes, seems like this magically fixed itself ... did some generic maintenance, and now it works again ... not sure what fixed it ...

Happened to me again, once on AC, it works fine. Still an issue, nonetheless.

Yes ... actually it seems to be an on-and-off issue ... hard to tell what causes it ... chrooting from the live system seems to fix it, 'til the next time it happens.

Seems like there's several problems with lenovo laptops recently, wonder whether it's related ...
