YOU format the partitions.
YOU mount them how you want.
If you don't want partitions touched, don't touch them. Simple as that.

That's your problem. If you do things the Arch way, you will not have the problem you're having. If you still want to use the install script, touch base with the individual who wrote the script. You probably will not get help with the script here in the forums because the script is not supported.

Re: [SOLVED]Install arch linux on separated partition

That all depends exactly *which* script OP used - if it's the "Guided Installer" that's on the ISO, please ask the mods to move your post to its dedicated forum: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewforum.php?id=51. The other scripts are unsupported.

Re: [SOLVED]Install arch linux on separated partition

archinstall is not a way to avoid knowing how to set up your system. Read the link I gave you.

Re: [SOLVED]Install arch linux on separated partition

Is this a BIOS or a UEFI installation?

Edit: You'll likely want to use the bootloader from the other installations and just skip it in Arch.

Re: [SOLVED]Install arch linux on separated partition

I have solved this problem by using cfdisk and create a new partition of 32 MB
which has type of BIOS boot
and then i again try it and it works

The wiki doesn't say to install all of anything. It presents various options and you choose based on your hardware, your intended usage and your preferences. Nobody can tell what you installed by reading the wiki. If you really installed all of the packages the wiki suggests for configuring your network, that's probably a big part of your problem.

Let's briefly pretend that this isn't merely an uninformed generic assertion that you did everything™ right…

What network configuring service do you then use?

Also post the output of

find /etc/systemd -type l -exec test -f {} \; -print

(you can *link* a photo of it, don't embed it again)
