[SOLVED]Installing kernel modules for anbox

I was trying to install anbox using snap which i did without any errors but when i tried running it didn't do anything then i found later that 2 kernel modules are required (ashmem and binder). So i tried installing them using modprobe but it gave me some error ( my terminal output: modprobe: FATAL: Module ashmem_linux not found in directory /lib/modules/5.5.13-arch2-1, same for binder). So anyone knows how to fix this, is it because these modules aren't supported in the latest kernel or something?

Re: [SOLVED]Installing kernel modules for anbox

Arch does not provide those modules in the kernel packages, you could try a custom kernel build. You should be able to use the aur/anbox-modules-dkms-git package as well.

Re: [SOLVED]Installing kernel modules for anbox

AVD-chad:  Welcome to the forums.  I read up a bit on this and it is a bit obscure.  This is a two year old thread that had been marked solved.

I suggest you start a new thread that you will own, perhaps in the AUR issues subforum.  You can link back to this thread if you feel it relevant to your thread.
With that, and without prejudice, I am going to close this old thread.

Thanks.
