[solved] no sound on Intel NUC (hdmi output)

Hi,
My sound just stopped after upgrading softwares. Kernel went from 5.14.14.arch1-1 to 5.19.6.arch1-1.

I use hdmi on HDA Intel PCH card.

As a sanity check, do the version numbers reported by uname -a and by pacman -Q linux match?

Well,
I finally solved the problem. I don't know exactly what was the exact problem, maybe simply the default sink.

I just finally switched to the new default.pa file (/etc/pulse/default.pa.pacnew move to /etc/pulse/default.pa, I of course saved the old config file that I was using)
and I created ~/.config/pulse/default.pa with the line:

.include /etc/pulse/default.pa
set-default-sink alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.hdmi-stereo

In order to find the default sink, I used: pacmd list-sinks | grep -Ei 'index:|name:', which in my case returns:

.include /etc/pulse/default.pa
set-default-sink alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.hdmi-stereo

Here is what I did though:
I downgraded kernel to anterior version and it did not solve the problem. I tried the new default.pa file (/etc/pulse/default.pa.pacnew move to /etc/pulse/default.pa, I of course saved the old config file that I was using)
It did not solve the problem
I also downgraded recently updated pulse package (sudo downgrade libpulse pulseaudio pulseaudio-alsa pulseaudio-equalizer)
If I'm not wrong, it did not solve the problem.
I had asistray (apulseaudio graphical frontend) installed and I found that the default sink was not hdmi. I just had to switch with asystray which is simple. Then I made the adjustments I mentionned at the beginning of this reply.
