I have a wakeup problem after suspending to RAM. It was solved actually for a while after implementing V1del's suggestion in this thread.
Unfortunately, the problem has come back though I haven't changed anything and I have ran out of options trying to debug it.
I tried increasing the size of my /tmp directory for Nvidia to use as temporary directory to comfortably fit the required memory but problem still occurs.
Basically, I put my desktop into suspend to RAM. When I wake it up, the screen remains blank and the PC goes to hyper-drive with fans spinning max and the only way I could get out of it is a hard reset.
The problem doesn't occur all the time but usually happens if the period between sleep and wakeup is quite long. I have a feeling something is draining the memory on sleep. Could that be possible?
It was working before could this be some sort of regression?
Any leads on where else to look or any advise to debug?
