Re: new arch user, long time debian user

Current      kernels      kernel26      2.6.18.1-2      The Linux Kernel and modules
Extra     kernels     kernel26beyond     2.6.17.beyond4-1     The Linux Kernel and modules, with the Beyond patchset.
Extra     kernels     kernel26ck     2.6.18.1.ck1-1     The Linux Kernel and modules (Con Kolivas high performance ck-patchset with specific emphasis on the desktop)
Extra     kernels     kernel26mm     2.6.19.rc4.mm1-1     The Linux Kernel and modules, Andrew Morton's -mm tree
Extra     kernels     kernel26suspend2     2.6.18.1-2     The Linux Kernel with suspend2 (http://www.suspend2.net) support

take your pick, 5 kernels to choose from.

NOTE : kernel26 is called the 'Stock' kernel and is closest to a vanilla kernel

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
