Problems while compiling

Hey, I've been having the same problem while compiling from the source code.

This is an outpout from the yay aur helper trying to compile the new version of yay:

I really have no idea what is causing this problem. It started suddenly.

I appreciate any help or suggestions to get this fixed.

I'd guess you are doing partial upgrades - what's the output of `pacman -Q gcc binutils`
