Fix for "nvme controller breaking due to broken suspend support" fails

It's basically as the title says. I tried the proposed fix of setting iommu=soft, and that worked for me until up until linux-zen kernel version 5.19, after which it didn't. I would like to know if there is another way to fix this issue, or if i should just bite the bullet and shell out money and buy a new not-messed-up nvme.

I have an HP 15s-eq2021nv laptop.

If you have any network problem at all, TURN OFF IPV6

For context: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Solid_ … nd_support

Does this also affect the regular kernel?
You could also temporarily resort to the LTS one.

This does affect the regular kernel as well, and I did try to switch to LTS, where the fix works, however the LTS kernel version does not include my network card driver yet, as it got included in the kernel in version 5.16, and LTS is in version 5.15.

Re: Fix for "nvme controller breaking due to broken suspend support" fails

Please post a complete system journal from the lts and an affected kernel.
(It's a bit odd that if the problem should be in the IOMMU and therefore using the SW IOMM reliably worked around that, this would suddenly cease to function)
