Chromium: After latest Arch update, half of extensions don't work

Hi all,

After the latest upgrade, my Chromium install is completely messed up. Half of my extensions don't work. This is how they look in the toolbar:

uBlock Origin looks like this when you click on the first icon above:

Reinstalling extensions doesn't do anything.
Any suggestions what I can do?

Thanks!

PS: I've been running Chromium with Arch and this profile for literally years and this was the first time this has happened.

Just a stab in the dark, Is your kernel that was loaded by the boat loader the same as the kernel that is installed?  (uname -a vs pacman -Q linux)
Are all of your volumes mounted -- and unlocked if they are encrypted?
Have you maybe started Chromium as root?

My chromium seems to work, along with all 2 of its extensions (not my main browser). Have you tried a new profile?

Re: Chromium: After latest Arch update, half of extensions don't work

Which build and version change specifically?
https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-p … mium/trunk moved to the bundled jsoncpp in 105.0.5195.125-3 and reverted to the system on yesterday, but *after* 106.0.5249.61-1 so if you moved from 105.0.5195.125-2 to 105.0.5195.125-3 or 106.0.5249.61-1 that could point towards the poblem (and suggest a downgrade to 105.0.5195.125-2)

Edit: are the extensions also broken w/ a new profile/user?

Hi ewaller!

$ uname -a
Linux Arch1 5.19.11-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat, 24 Sep 2022 18:24:15 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

and

$ pacman -Q linux
linux 5.19.11.arch1-1

They're the same.
My volumes are encrypted (I have one) and it's mounted.
No, Chromium is running as a user.

I will attempt to restart and if that doesn't work, I will try a new profile. Will report back in a bit.

Thank you all!
