[Solved] Slow firefox after an update

I've recently updated the system including firefox. I have no way to quantify this but, the menu loading is notably slow. Normally icons of bookmarks would show up instantly upon mouse click, but they take about 1~3 seconds to appear. Not to mention scrolling the menu with a mouse wheel stutters. And, moving a tab from one to another browser is visually lagging and slow. So, generally, menu interface is slow, yet web contents load just fine without any lagging issue.

Does anyone have similar symptoms? I tried turning on and off any add-ons and hardware acceleration in the settings, and updating the mesa driver but to no avail.

-- update

I think it was a problem of i3wm and GTK. Installing xf86-video-amdgpu solve the problem for me.

Installing xf86-video-amdgpu package (which I did not have installed when the problem existed) solved the problem for me...
