SOLVED fluidsynth play midi file from specific measure
i can play a midi file from the beginning like this:
fluidsynth file.midi
or
aplaymidi file.midi
is there a way to play a midi file from a specific measure or bar?
can i play specific consecutive bars?
i recall being able to do it with timidity using some option with 5-10m where 5 was the startbar, 10 the endbar and the 'm' meant use measures rather than seconds. however, i can't find it in the timidity manpages anymore for some reason. nor can i find anything like this for fluidsynth.
qsynth let's you control several things, but there seems to be no way to go to a certain place in a midi file.
