Stuck at boot

Im currently experiencing an issue on my system running Arch root on ZFS.

After i've entered my passphrase the boot process is stuck with the following messages being displayed:

"[FAILED] Failed to start Load/Save Random Seed."
"[FAILED] Failed to start Record System Boot/Shutdown in UTMP."

It seems like the issue is that my storage was 100% utilised when I shut down my system.

Now my question is, how can I get a shell open in order to read more logs, verify that this is in fact the cause of the issue, and delete some files so that the system can boot normally?

Re: Stuck at boot

Please put [Solved] in title. Also, might be useful for others if you describe what the issue was and how you fixed it.
