I just found a really nice-looking Edge theme for Firefox... The thing is, it's in a .jar file. I know Thunderbird is able to install themes from .jar files, but Firefox doesn't seem to have that functionality... So: how do I install this thing? Where do I put the file?

Download .jar file to a temporary location, then from the Firefox Tools menu, select Themes, then just drag/drop the .jar file into the themes list in the Themes Manager.
That should do it. ![]()

May be Desktop Environments is not the appropriate place to post this, but this thread fits 100% to my concern:
I'm about trying the same thing. But how to drag/drop without a desktop environment? Copying the content of the .jar file into the mozilla user directory doesn't work neither.
I couldn't find a solution to this problem on the whole www and it would be nice to get it here.
Edit: As makeshift I found an extension to install locally themes and extensions:

Recently i copied .jar file containing new icons for firefox2 to ~/.mozilla/firefox/[your profile].default/extensions , and after restarting ff it automagically installed package.
