[solved] gdm loginscreen not visible

Hello everyone,

i have a little issue with gdm. If desktop is idle the screen gets black and a cursor on the left upper side is blinking.
Logging in is only with ALT CTL and F2 possible.

Normally i expect a black screen in energy saving mode and a visible login screen after mouse movement or pressing a key.

I had no luck with different gnome energy/screen settings.

journalctl telling "assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed":

I have created a Gitlab issue for this. Im not sure if they can help with archlinux packages.

Greetings

Re: [solved] gdm loginscreen not visible

sudo journactl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

Possibly IBT, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Installation

You're on the 6.0.0 kernel (testing repo?) and blacklist nouveau, but the nvidia module doesn't load either (because not installed for this kernel, do you use nvidia-dkms?)

Re: [solved] gdm loginscreen not visible

Looks like the problem is gone.

I had set to aggressive curve optimizer settings on this new workstation.
Thank you for your help.

Greetings
