Not picking up USB drive

My USB drive isn't showing up in /dev/ or lsblk for some reason.
It's also not listed in the boot order, despite having a bootable image (I think), but that's probably unrelated.
I'm not 100% sure which log files would be most enlightening, so I've just grabbed all of the ones that sounded remotely relevant.

Here's my "dmesg | grep -i USB":

So far, I've tried unplugging and plugging the USB, occasionally into different ports, and performing the one thing that every Arch newbie knows how to do by heart: "sudo pacman -Syu" followed by a reboot. I've also tested different USB drives (didn't work), and plugged them into different computers (did work), leading me to believe that this isn't a hardware issue.
As to what caused the issue in the first place, I might've accidentally yanked the drive during some crucial boot process, but I don't know for sure.

Re: Not picking up USB drive

"dmesg | grep -i USB"

dmesg -w # then plug the key and post the response

However from what is there it looks as if the controller doesn't respond, it the key is toast.
If this is a systematic issue, ie. no usb key works at all, please post a complete system journal (sudo journalctl -b)
