Using JOSM, since a while I et a warning to UPdate the JAVA-package; in the past, ARCH-updates did install newer versions for this package.
I've found, that the actual package in the repo has been flagged out-of-date in July 2022.
Actually, I'm using a workaround, but I would really appreciate an update of that package in the repo. Can I take any action?
Thank you, Michael

Have you tried building a newer version via ABS? Update the pkgver and checksum and if it works, you're all set. If it doesn't work, you'll have a good hint on why it hasn't been updated yet - then if / when you can solve whatever that problem is, you can share your solution with the dev / packager and that may expedite getting the new version in the repos.

Thank you, I did not. Version 18543 would be available in AUR, but it is also possible to download and run the .jar from terminal. Nevertheless would be appreciated to have the repo-version more actual.
