[SOLVED] Jupyter conflicts

Hi,

: sudo pacman -Syu
...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing jupyter-nbclassic (0.4.7-1) breaks dependency 'jupyter-notebook' required by jupyter-jsmol
:: installing jupyter-nbclassic (0.4.7-1) breaks dependency 'jupyter-notebook' required by jupyter-widgetsnbextension

Please, what can I do ?

jupyter-nbclassic no longer provides jupyter-notebook. Perhaps you installed it instead of community/jupyter-notebook in  the past and forgot about it.

Since I can no longer test a setup that old,⁽¹⁾ and I am not sure if trying to explicitly update system and install jupyter-notebook will work (try it?), the safest option is to remove offending packages, update the system, reinstall the packages.

After having removed jupyter-jsmol and jupyter-widgetsnbextension the upgrade was successful.
